The Flexogen hoses have been improved with solid brass couplings, instead of the old thinner pressed brass ones.
Flexogen has some, but not perfect resistance to kinking.It requires thoughtful winding, as all tough, stiff hoses.
These hoses last for many years of service--you will get your money's worth.
